The FBINAA 2017 Youth Leadership Program-Session #19

This year we welcomed sixty (60) students to the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA from June 22-30, 2017. Similar to the FBI National Academy Program, students came from all over the United States, representing the 44 North American Chapters, one from the European Chapter, one from the Latin America/Caribbean Chapter, one respectively from FBI LEEDA, FBI Society of Former Agents and the FBI National Academy Associates Executive Board selection process. The week focused on core subject matter which included Leadership, Ethics, Values and Choices, Juvenile Crime, Character Matters, Goal Setting, Bullying, Ethical Decision Making, Accountability, Social Media and Financial Responsibility. Session 19 also had a full day field trip to Washington, DC to visit many impactful museums and memorials including the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, US Holocaust Museum, and Arlington National Ceremony.

The first Youth Leadership Program took place in 1998 and as of this year, 913 students have graduated from the program. We thank the Counselors and Program Coordinator John Foster who dedicate their time to this program and these young leaders. Congratulations to these future leaders of Session 19!
