What is significant about becoming a Strategic or
Executive Board Level Corporate Partner?
The Association has a large number of very valuable and important corporate and conference partners. Each year they faithfully contribute and significantly support the Association. For example, they support us as vendors/exhibitors at conferences, advertise in our magazine, or support a particular national or chapter event. Their support is greatly appreciated and usually focused on one aspect of the Association.
Intentionally, the Association has only a small number of Strategic or Executive Board level corporate partners, partners whose support is multi-faceted, and simultaneously impacts several Association programs and initiatives. It is the support of our Strategic and Executive Board level corporate partners that propel the Association’s growth and development as the world’s premier global law enforcement leadership association. This relationship is extremely important to accomplishing our mission and strategic goal of being the preeminent provider of professional training and maintaining our status as the strongest law enforcement leadership network in the world.
Characteristics of our Strategic and Executive Board level Corporate Partner Program:
- Because of the profile and nature of our Association, the program is, and will remain, comprised of a very select and small group of corporate entities.
- Our partners are committed to supporting the development and mission of the most diverse, global, professional law enforcement leadership network in the world. Our corporate partners share the Association’s desire to do our part to make our communities, nation, and the world a safer place, where rule of law prevails.
- The members of our Association have a very strong common bond; they have completed the FBI’s prestigious National Academy Program. The Association represents local, state, federal, military, and international law enforcement leaders, including chiefs, sheriffs, commissioners, superintendents, as well as ministers and directors of national police and security organizations, who work across the nation’s and world’s cities, suburban neighborhoods and rural communities.
- A yearly or multi-year tailored comprehensive agreement is jointly prepared and approved to insure that our Strategic and Executive Board corporate partners, while supporting the Association, are maximizing the benefit of this relationship. The agreement greatly assists our partners in taking full advantage of the wide range of the Association’s international and national events/programs, as well as our magazine, website, and most importantly our global professional network. This comprehensive agreement serves as an effective and efficient way of insuring a sound and overall mutually beneficial partnership.
- The FBI NAA Association Executive Office staff works very closely with the representatives of our Strategic and Executive Board partners to insure that their support and contributions are used effectively and efficiently, and are in alignment with the mission of the Association. The staff works vigorously to fulfill all the Association’s obligations and to maintain the spirit of the partnership.
- If desired our Strategic and Executive Board corporate partners receive widespread national and international recognition for their critical support of the Association and its mission. Corporate representatives of our partners at our international conferences are often senior members of their companies and generally have the opportunity to meet with the heads of multiple foreign law enforcement organizations and senior officials of the hosting government.
- Domestically our Strategic and Executive Board corporate partners have the opportunity to link and work with our forty-four state chapters, whose members frequently lead the wide-range of city, county, and state law enforcement organizations in the region.
- The Association is a tax-exempt association under section 501 (c) (3) of the U.S. tax code and contributions (beyond value received) may be deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal tax return. Your tax advisor should be consulted.
