Chapter Overview

The New York State/Eastern Canada Chapter is one of the largest in the FBI National Academy Association with over 900 members, the mission of the chapter is to provide the membership of the NYS EC FBINAA Chapter with opportunities for continuing education, training, professional development, peer networking, and research in law enforcement disciplines, which will promote improved leadership, cooperation, services, efficiencies and higher standards of professional conduct in all levels of law enforcement throughout New York State and Eastern Canada.

NYPD Rodman's Neck Firearms Training Facility
May 7, 2026
The day will begin at 0815 with coffee and bagels at the Rodman's Neck Range for sign-in, followed by welcoming remarks and opening comments at 0900 sharp. Our keynote speaker will be retired NYPD Inspector Paul Mauro. All attendees MUST be dues current. Please DO NOT bring any non-FBINAA members without permission from the Chapter Executive Board. Anyone who wishes to participate in the Lt. David Campbell Competitive Shoot will be able to do so at this event.

LARRY JAY, OUR FRIEND AND COLLEAGUE, LOST HIS BATTLE WITH CANCER ON JANUARY 19, 2026. LARRY RETIRED AS AN ASSISTANT CHIEF WITH THE UNITED STATES BORDER PATROL AFTER 24 YEARS OF SERVICE. HE WAS A PROUD GRADUATE OF THE FBI NATIONAL ACADEMY SESSION #249 AND AN EX-OFFICIO MEMBER OF THE NYS/EC FBINAA CHAPTER'S BOARD OF GOVERNORS. HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ANNUAL "BATTLE OF THE BORDER" TOURNAMENT WILL BE MISSED.

This event will be held at our firing range in Westhampton Beach. The day begins with coffee, sausage/egg/cheese sliders, and bagels at 9:00 AM, followed by a presentation by our guest speaker. Following the guest speaker we will move down range for our shoot. Immediately thereafter, we will adjourn to beautiful Rogers Beach in Westhampton Beach for our luncheon and the presentation of the 2026 Bart Hose Award.

United States Military Academy at West Point - Blaik Field at Michie Stadium
October 10, 2026
Football - Army vs. Tulane, Tailgating starts at 0800 hrs. Game opening ceremonies begin at 1145 hrs. Kickoff is at 1200 hrs. Food and drinks will be served prior, during and after the game. Full Louisiana Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar at the event. There will be numerous raffle baskets and prizes to choose from. There will be a LIMITED number of tickets available for this event.
